The City of Tukwila is seeking two (2) Park Maintenance Specialists. These positions will work with the Lead Maintenance Specialist and fellow crew members to implement the maintenance management plans to meet the desired service levels of the Tukwila Parks, Trails, and Open Space system. The Parks Maintenance Specialistperforms skilled maintenance activities related to the ground maintenance of City parks and/or facilities; City landscape and operating equipment which does not require a commercial driver's license.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, mobility, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Duties are performed primarily outdoors in a variety of terrains, under a variety of weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, mud, and snow, for periods of approximately eight (8) hours/day. Duties are frequently performed working alone, but may sometimes be performed as part of a work team.
