Are you a highly skilled master-level electrician ready to shape and sustain the infrastructure that supports one of Madison’s most valued public assets? The City of Madison Parks Division is seeking a skilled and motivated electrical professional ready to step into a leadership role and make a visible impact across the community. This position is a leader, providing master-level expertise in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems that power and protect Madison’s parks, facilities and public spaces.

You’ll exercise considerable independent judgment in solving problems, prioritizing work, and meeting program objectives under limited supervision.
Assignments are received from the Parks Facilities Supervisor, but the role offers significant autonomy and responsibility for shaping the performance, reliability, and long-term success of the electrical section. This is an opportunity for a seasoned electrician who is ready to combine hands-on expertise with leadership, initiative, and a commitment to public service.
As Parks Electrical Foreperson, you will contribute directly to Madison Parks’ vision of providing an exceptional system of parks, natural resources, recreational opportunities and facilities that enhance the quality of life for all.
