How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Provide high-level clinical intervention and stabilization for critically ill or injured patients by collaborating closely with physicians and registered nurses during transport.
  • Drive patient safety and clinical outcomes by initiating life-support protocols and maintaining constant communication regarding the patient’s condition and treatment progress.
  • Empower patients and their families through population-specific education, clearly explaining medical conditions and therapeutic interventions to ensure they are informed and supported.
  • Ensure operational readiness and team safety by meticulously inspecting and maintaining specialized transport equipment to guarantee peak performance in the field.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Paramedic credentialed from the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Division obtained
    prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
