Role Description and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry Level Paralegal/Paralegal Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will provide legal and administrative support to lawyers and senior paralegals. The Entry Level Paralegal/Paralegal Assistant will undertake a variety of tasks ranging from administrative legal tasks, case research, legal document management, and other duties assigned. A submission of a writing sample (memo, complaint, motions, etc.) will be required, for interview consideration.


  • Conduct legal research on various topics such as Corporate, Patent, Employment, Civil, Criminal, and other relevant areas through Westlaw or Lexis Nexis platforms.
  • Assist in preparing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Manage and organize legal documents using Smokeball, MyCase, Time Matters, etc.
  • Previous experience with electronic filing documents using ECF/PACER with different jurisdictions/courts, and other relevant agencies.
  • Assist in preparing for litigation cases.
  • Support attorneys in all phases of trial preparation.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, calendar court deadlines, answering calls, and maintaining calendars.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and protocols.
  • Familiarity with the use of legal platforms (i.e. Westlaw, Lexis Nexis).
  • Ability to conduct thorough Legal Research efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications :

  • A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate is required.
  • Experience in Law and Legal Document Preparation.
  • Strong Research and Document Review skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with legal team and clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal software and document management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Prior experience in law firms or legal departments is advantageous.
