Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

At Ford, Dean & Rotundo, P.A., we don’t just handle cases—we advocate for individuals and families who need it most. As a highly respected litigation firm specializing in nursing home abuse and medical malpractice, our work is meaningful, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding.

We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Paralegal who’s ready to step into a hands-on role supporting attorneys on complex, high-volume litigation files—and make an immediate impact from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drafting, filing, and managing pleadings
  • Handling ~100 active cases (primarily nursing home/assisted living + medical malpractice)
  • Reviewing legal documents for accuracy and quality
  • Coordinating schedules, court filings, and deadlines
  • Communicating with clients, judicial assistants, defense counsel, and referral attorneys
  • Supporting trial preparation, including:
  • Evidence prep
  • Jury instructions & verdict forms
  • Motions in Limine
  • Witness coordination
  • IT and court reporter logistics

You’ll hit the ground running with your own caseload—with full support from attorneys, leadership, and a collaborative team.

What Success Looks Like

  • Highly polished communication (clear, professional, error-free)
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Communicating proactively—asking for help when needed
  • Thriving in a direct, fast-paced, team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Paralegal experience in personal injury or litigation (med mal/nursing home a plus)
  • Strong understanding of legal procedures and document preparation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Experience with tools like Courtmaps, Smokeball, Outlook, Zoom
  • Paralegal degree or certification
  • Experience in medical malpractice or long-term care litigation

This isn’t your typical law firm environment—we prioritize both performance and culture.

What Sets Us Apart:

  • Collaborative, experienced team with strong leadership support
  • Hands-on learning and exposure to complex litigation
  • Bonus opportunities & strong benefits
  • Real trial exposure (1–2 trials/year, plus arbitrations)

A Culture You’ll Actually Enjoy:

  • Team celebrations + firm events
  • Employee appreciation perks
  • Tight-knit team with great people and strong retention

If You’re Ready to Step Up…

This is a great opportunity for a strong litigation paralegal who wants more ownership, meaningful work, and a team that genuinely supports each other.
