Paralegal

FAMILY LAW FIRM SEEKING PARALEGAL

We are looking for a paralegal with experience in family law, spanish fluency, and is passionate about helping clients obtain their goals.

We are a small yet busy law firm located in the near west suburbs of Chicago. We have been serving the Chicago land area now for 5 years primarily in the area of family law. Our clients are primarily individuals who speak english as a second language or spanish entirely, so fluency in spanish is a must.

The position of paralegal will consist of:

• communicating with clients
• receiving and sending mail/email
• collecting payments/retainers
• intake of new clients
• drafting and editing pleadings/court documents
• e-filing
• assisting staff/attorneys
• discovery review and preparation of discovery/financials
• updating and maintaining court calendar
• proficiency in word and outlook
• basic understanding of mycase software is a plus but not required
