Panel Builder / Wire Harness

Job Description

The position of Panel Builder involves assembling and wiring Industrial Control Panels, Electro/Mechanical sub-assemblies, and/or major assemblies, ensuring that they meet internal and customer-specified quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire Industrial Control Panels.
  • Build Electro/Mechanical sub-assemblies and major assemblies.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Assist in the development and build of prototype industrial control panels and assemblies.
  • Identify, correct, and repair non-conforming materials.
  • Document and notify discrepancies per standard operational procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Effective application of technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email and MRP software.
  • Knowledge of using assembly and wiring tools such as manuals and pneumatic or electric hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Certified IPS Specialist to IPC/WHMA-A-620 is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UL-508A standards.
  • High School Education or GED required; additional education preferred.
  • 5 years of related work experience required.
  • Prior panel builder work experience is preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Placentia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44000.00 - $57000.00/yr.

Company will provide benefits package at time of offer with candidate directly
