We are looking for someone to join our Painter Team! Our painters are responsible for painting and maintaining all interior and exterior structures throughout the park.
Responsibilities:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Paint offices, buildings, rides, handrails, fences, safety lines, etc. throughout the park
Mix and match paint colors
Knowledge in use of a striping machine
Prepare surfaces to be painted by sanding, drywall taping, scraping/water blasting (power scraping)
Keep a daily duty lof of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance
Comply with environmental laws in proper storage and disposal of paint and chemicals
Comply with all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required
Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications
Should possess high school diploma or equivalent
Should possess knowledge of conventional and airless spray equipment
Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles
Must be able to use various types of safety and emergency equipment, including respirators and safety harnesses
Must be able to work at heights in excess of 150 feet, crawling, and working in confined spaces and lifiting up to 50 lbs
Ability to work varied shifts, includings nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
