PA/Chief of Staff - Greenwich, $200k

The British Connection Staffing
Greenwich, CT

The British Connection is delighted to act as the exclusive recruiter for this role.

This is a newly created position supporting a highly regarded Principal operating at senior level within finance, based from a home office in Greenwich, CT. The role has been introduced at a point of growth and increasing complexity, with the aim of bringing structure, continuity and clarity across all aspects of his day-to-day.

The Principal runs his own advisory business from a home office in Greenwich and is closely involved in day-to-day family life. His wife holds a senior role in finance, based in Manhattan four days per week with frequent international travel. The role is anchored to the Principal, while ensuring his wife remains seamlessly connected and up to date across a shared, centralised calendar and key decisions.

Both Principals are thoughtful, engaging and grounded, with a natural sense of humour. They value discretion, good judgment and a calm, capable presence around them.

This person will act as the Principal’s primary right hand, bringing ownership and continuity across his schedule and priorities, while also establishing full oversight of the broader personal and household infrastructure. This includes financial administration, bill pay, insurance and medical coordination, contracts, and ensuring discretion and control across all aspects of their lives.

The role interfaces with the existing EA supporting his wife, ensuring everything runs seamlessly across both Principals and their respective schedules.

There is a long-standing nanny in place, and this person will have the autonomy to assess and thoughtfully build out any additional support required over time.

A key aspect of the role is thinking ahead - researching, anticipating and presenting considered options to support decision-making across all areas of family life. This may include travel and vacations, schools and after-school activities, technology and systems integration, and onboarding any additional support as required.

This requires a highly capable, composed and intuitive individual who can operate with independence, discretion and sound judgment. The successful candidate will bring calm, structure and foresight, and be equally comfortable managing detail and thinking ahead.
