Overnight Deli Stocker

As a part of the store overnight operations team working in the Deli department, you'll play an integral role in supporting the Deli's daytime operations by replenishing products on the sales floor and preparing/slicing meats, cheeses, and other fresh items to ensure availability of products for our customers. What will I do?

• Provide incredible service to our customers
• Take and produce orders, and prepare items for display by slicing, packaging and labeling the products
• Keep our shelves stocked with fresh items
• May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory

Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive grasping, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 35 pounds occasionally. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors and involves exposure to cold (33 – 55 degrees) temperatures. Basic tools and equipment used include slicer, knives, scale, and packaging supplies.; Customer service experience preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting
