Outside Sales Representative – Security & Life Safety Systems

At Electronic Systems Installers (ESI), we provide professional fire, life safety, and security solutions for both commercial and residential customers throughout Central Pennsylvania. From homeowners to large commercial properties we design, install, and service systems that keep people safe.
We’re seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business across both markets. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your territory, the support of a skilled operations team, and the opportunity to sell solutions that truly make an impact.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within both commercial and residential markets.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to understand customer needs and recommend the right mix of security, access control, fire, and camera systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotes, proposals, and system designs.
- Stay up to date on new technologies and industry trends to bring fresh insights to your clients
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of proven success in outside or B2B sales (security or low-voltage industry preferred).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and driven to exceed goals.
- Comfortable managing both commercial accounts and homeowner relationships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
