Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Cladding Substructure Salesperson to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the sales of our cladding substructure products by educating and consulting with customers on their architectural projects.



Job Function:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for cladding substructure products.
  2. Customer Education: Educate architects, contractors, and developers on the benefits and technical specifications of our cladding substructure solutions.
  3. Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their project needs and recommending suitable cladding substructure products.
  4. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the architectural and construction industries.
  5. Product Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments related to cladding systems to effectively position Monarch Metal, Inc. as a leader in the market.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including engineering, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless communication and excellent customer service.



Job Requirement:

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the architectural or construction industry.
  • Cladding, rainscreen, curtain wall, and building envelope experience is desired. Someone who comes from the construction industry with a willingness to learn, will also be successful in this role.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex product specifications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for exceeding sales goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
