Outside Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Account Manager required to join a leading provider of pumping solutions and industrial equipment.
The Outside Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Account Manager will have strong experience in outside sales, preferably in industrial equipment, pumps, or rental solutions. The role will focus on generating new business, managing the full sales cycle, and building long-term relationships with customers in sectors such as Oil & Gas, chemical, and construction. Knowledge of fluid systems or pumps is an advantage but not required, as a willingness to learn is essential.
The Outside Sales Representative will be based in Houston, covering the local territory, with a focus on construction sites, pump stations, and refinery operations.

Total Comp: $95,000 - $100,000 (Year one)
Truck: Company vehicle and fuel card
Uncapped Commission: 1.5% on gross sales
Outside Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Account Manager Role
- Cover the Houston area, proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initiating contact, scoping requirements, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
- Use Salesforce CRM to track opportunities and manage follow-up actions effectively.
- Build relationships with engineering personnel, procurement teams, and key decision-makers in EPC firms, refineries, and construction projects.
- Work with engineering teams to provide accurate product quotes, tailored technical solutions, and proposals.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client visits to generate new leads and maintain market presence.
Outside Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Account Manager Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years in outside sales, preferably in industrial equipment, pumps, or rental solutions
- Familiarity with rotating equipment, construction, municipal, and oil & gas sectors is a plus
- Proven ability to start new business, track leads, and close sales
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel
- Strong ability to build relationships with engineers, maintenance personnel, and procurement teams
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an up-to-date sales forecast
- Familiarity with the Houston area, including EPC firms, refineries, chemical plants, and construction projects. Exposure to pumps and engineered-to-order solutions is a plus
