Role overview

Join a high-growth company selling a leading platform in diagnostic cardiology and both in-hospital and out-of-hospital-based services. As the Outside Sales Representative for the Northeast, you will own a territory selling diagnostic cardiology equipment for Life Support Systems.

You will inherit a book of business anchored by large and growing health systems with consistent demand for new installs and replacement equipment—providing near-term stability and long-term upside. In parallel, you will expand a high-growth AED service & maintenance offering, positioning yourself as a trusted, consultative partner across both capital equipment and recurring services.

What you will own

·        Sales responsibility for Philips EKG, stress test, Holter devices, and related diagnostic cardiology equipment across a defined Northeast territory (inside and outside of hospitals).

·        A customer base of hospitals, health systems, and cardiology practices with ongoing new site and replacement demand, along with a new high growth opportunity – AED service & maintenance.

·        Territory planning, account strategy, and quota attainment, with clear visibility to leadership and direct impact on company growth.

·        Primary commercial relationships with clinical, executive, and supply chain stakeholders.

What you will do

·        Counsel potential customers on the importance of having their public access AEDs professionally maintained through a low-pressure sales environment that strengthens long-term relationships.

·        Drive face-to-face and virtual selling activities: prospecting, qualification, on-site and remote presentations, product demos, in-services, and post-sale follow-up.

·        Build deep, consultative relationships with cardiology leaders, service line leaders, biomedical engineering, and materials management across key health systems.

·        Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through qualification, quoting, negotiation, and closing within established pricing and contract parameters.

·        Maintain a disciplined pipeline and accurate forecasting in the company CRM, ensuring transparent territory performance reporting.

·        Coordinate with clinical, implementation, and service teams to support smooth installs, training, and high customer satisfaction.

·        Represent Life Support Systems at targeted tradeshows, conferences, and regional events to strengthen presence in diagnostic cardiology.

·        Continuously deepen your understanding of cardiology workflows, equipment lifecycles, interoperability, and competitive dynamics in the hospital environment.

How you will be supported

·        Entrepreneurial culture with direct access to an ambitious leadership team and a clear path to leadership roles for consistently high-performing salespeople.

·        Modern tech stack and AI-enabled sales tools that create personal leverage in lead generation, account research, and follow-up, allowing you to maximize time with customers.

·        An industry-leading AED service & maintenance team to hand-off confirmed sales to so you can continue to focus on generating new opportunities.

What you bring

·        Several years of successful outside sales experience in medical devices, ideally with exposure to hospital capital equipment or cardiology.

·        Proven ability to drive growth in a territory role, manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and consistently hit or exceed quota.

·        Familiarity with diagnostic cardiology equipment and existing relationships with cardiology or related hospital stakeholders are strong pluses.

·        Executive presence and consultative selling skills, with the ability to influence both clinical and administrative decision-makers.

·        Strong business discipline in territory planning, CRM hygiene, and pipeline management, coupled with comfort operating autonomously in a remote, entrepreneurial environment.

If you are a seasoned medical device salesperson seeking true territory ownership and leadership upside within a fast-growing platform, this role represents a rare opportunity.
