Work Schedule

This is a Part-time, 80% FTE. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with Thursdays off. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Required training will take place at 8501 Excelsior Drive.  Once trained, this position will be remote.  Candidate must be able to come to Excelsior for meetings and addition training as needed.

We are seeking an Outreach Specialist / Medical Assistant (MA) to: 

 

  • Conduct outreach services to UW Health patients with hypertension.
  • Assist primary care clinics with prescription refills. 
  • Schedule appointments and order hypertension supplies for patients.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Medical Assistant program, licensure as an LPN or graduate of a school of nursing Required

Work Experience

  • 1 year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, RN, or other clinical experience Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Certified as CMA, RMA or CCMA within 1 Year Required
  • If LPN or RN, maintain state LPN or RN licensure in state where employed Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Preferred
