We are seeking a senior-level, certified Organizational Change Management (OCM) professional to design, build, and lead our enterprise change management program from the ground up. This is not a support role — you will own the program architecture, define the operating model, organize the team and workstreams, and serve as the accountable leader driving adoption outcomes across large-scale transformations. You will establish the frameworks, governance, and playbooks that become the standard for how this organization manages change. This is an onsite role in Seattle, WA.
What You'll Own
- Program Design & Architecture
- Design the end-to-end OCM program structure including methodology, governance, toolkits, templates, and delivery frameworks tailored to our enterprise context.
- Define the change management operating model — roles, responsibilities, decision rights, escalation paths, and integration points with program/project management.
- Establish a scalable, repeatable approach for assessing, planning, and executing change across concurrent enterprise initiatives.
- Build the measurement architecture: adoption KPIs, readiness scoring models, sentiment tracking, and value realization dashboards.
- Program Organization & Build-Out
- Stand up and organize the OCM function — define team structure, capability needs, resource plans, and vendor/partner models.
- Create the intake and prioritization process for change initiatives across the portfolio.
- Design and implement the stakeholder governance framework including sponsor coalitions, change agent networks, and leadership alignment cadences.
- Develop the enterprise change portfolio view — assessing cumulative change saturation and sequencing across business units.
- Program Leadership & Execution
- Serve as the an accountable leader for the OCM program — owning outcomes, not just activities.
- Lead executive-level conversations on change readiness, organizational risk, and adoption performance.
- Direct the planning and delivery of change strategies for enterprise-wide programs (ERP, digital transformation, org restructuring, M&A integration).
- Coach and develop OCM practitioners, change agents, and people leaders in their change roles.
- Drive continuous improvement of the program based on lessons learned, adoption data, and organizational feedback.
- Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of dedicated organizational change management experience, with significant time spent designing and leading enterprise-scale OCM programs (not just executing within them).
- Certification: Active OCM certification from a recognized body — Prosci ADKAR, ACMP Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or equivalent.
- Program Design Background: Demonstrated experience standing up an OCM program, function, or Center of Excellence from scratch within a large enterprise (10,000+ employees).
- Enterprise Transformation Scope: Led change across large, complex programs — ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday), enterprise cloud migrations, M&A integrations, or major operating model shifts.
- Leadership Presence: Proven ability to operate at the executive level — presenting to C-suite, influencing without authority, and holding accountability for enterprise outcomes.
- Methodology Mastery: Expert-level command of structured OCM frameworks (Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR, Bridges) with the ability to architect hybrid approaches fit for organizational culture.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, I/O Psychology, Communications, or related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree (MBA, OD, I/O Psychology, or related).
- Multiple certifications (e.g., Prosci + CCMP).
- Experience in management consulting (Big 4, boutique strategy firm, or internal enterprise consulting).
- Background building and leading a Change Management Office (CMO) or Center of Excellence.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe program delivery and adapting OCM for iterative environments.
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification.
