Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Oracle HCM Consultant with Recruiting Cloud Experience.


Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.


Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Oracle Recruiting Cloud Analyst and Configuration Specialist to join Ford's global HR Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring and customizing Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), and providing ongoing support and maintenance across Ford's global recruiting operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle Recruiting Cloud functionality, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to identify and resolve product gaps through tailored configurations and customizations. Scaled to 10+ years of experience, this senior specialist will lead configuration strategy, release management, and solution design across ORC and its integration touchpoints with Core HR and Talent Management.

The ideal candidate is a technical-functional professional who applies Design Thinking principles to solve business problems, can navigate Oracle Verified Integrations (OVI), write Fast Formulas, and consistently deliver a high-quality experience for recruiters, HR partners, and candidates across multiple countries.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Recruiting Cloud configurations and customizations
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders, talent acquisition leaders, and IT partners to gather and document system requirements
  • Apply Design Thinking principles to understand user pain points and design intuitive workflows for recruiters, HR partners, and candidates
  • Participate in requirement-gathering sessions and provide recommendations grounded in Oracle Best Practices
  • Identify gaps within ORC product capabilities and resolve them through creative configurations and customizations


2. ORC Configuration & Global Support

  • Execute end-to-end configuration of Oracle Recruiting Cloud for global regions: Job Requisitions, Candidate Selection Processes (CSP), and Career Sites
  • Configure and optimize Recruiting Booster and Onboarding business processes for global candidate and new hire workflows
  • Support and maintain Oracle Verified Integrations (OVI) with third-party vendors for background checks, assessments, and recruiting services
  • Perform root-cause analysis for system defects and manage the end-to-end resolution process
  • Support the integration between ORC and Core HR to ensure a smooth Hire-to-Onboard process
  • Assist in configuration and maintenance of Talent Management (Performance, Goals, and Succession) to support a unified employee profile


3. Ongoing Support, Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle Recruiting Cloud applications across Ford's global user base
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Recruiting Cloud functionality, integrations, and data quality
  • Develop and maintain system documentation including configuration specifications, process guides, and end-user guides
  • Monitor system health and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization


Experience:

  • 10+ years of Oracle Cloud HCM experience with a strong focus on Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
  • Minimum 2+ years of direct ORC configuration experience — recruiting process and system improvements within ORC (base requirement per role specification; senior seniority reflects 10+ year overall track record)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify gaps within ORC product capabilities and resolve them through configurations and customizations
  • Proven experience with recruiting process improvement and system optimization in ORC across multiple global regions
  • Minimum 2 full-lifecycle ORC implementations or significant multi-country support engagements
  • Previous Oracle HCM Implementation Partner experience strongly preferred
  • Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) — end-to-end configuration: Job Requisitions, CSP, Career Sites, Recruiting Booster, Onboarding
  • General recruiting knowledge — understanding of talent acquisition processes, candidate lifecycle, and offer management
  • Oracle HCM Cloud experience — familiarity with Core HR integration points and cross-module dependencies
  • Fast Formula development and debugging for eligibility rules, validation logic, and automation
  • HDL (HCM Data Loader) for data migration and mass updates
  • OVI (Oracle Verified Integrations) — management of third-party vendor connections
  • HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BI Publisher for reporting and analytics
  • Quarterly Oracle release management: impact assessment, regression testing, and feature adoption


Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
