Job Description:
- We are seeking a hands-on Oracle ERP Functional Consultant with strong experience in ERP design, process mapping, and fit-gap analysis to support our global transformation program.
- This role is embedded within the Transformation Team and is focused on delivering Oracle ERP Cloud solutions through direct configuration, testing, and deployment.
- The consultant will ensure that Oracle ERP processes are designed and implemented consistently across modules, while aligning with global standards and transformation goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
ERP Design & Process Mapping
- Participate in global design workshops across all Oracle ERP Cloud modules (Finance, Procurement, Projects, SCM, HCM, etc.).
- Capture, document, and validate end-to-end business processes “as-is” and “future-state” to ensure alignment with global design principles.
- Support the creation and maintenance of the global template for Oracle ERP Cloud, ensuring consistency across regions.
Fit/Gap Analysis
- Perform fit-gap assessments for all Oracle ERP modules to determine where Oracle functionality meets or requires enhancements.
- Recommend best practices to minimize customizations while addressing statutory and operational needs.
- Provide clear documentation and functional design specifications for any required gaps or extensions.
Hands-On ERP Configuration
- Configure Oracle ERP Cloud modules in alignment with the agreed global template.
- Maintain detailed configuration workbooks and ensure traceability from requirements to system design.
- Validate system behavior through testing and ensure alignment to functional specifications.
Testing & Cutover Support
- Develop and execute test cases across modules, ensuring end-to-end integration validation.
- Support data migration testing by reconciling migrated data with business requirements.
- Provide functional support during cutover planning, execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
Collaboration with PMO & SI
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure timelines, risks, and deliverables are supported by functional readiness.
- Collaborate with System Integrators to validate functional design decisions, challenge deviations from best practices, and ensure consistency with the transformation program.
- Provide functional expertise during issue resolution, escalations, and steering committee reviews.
Change & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to knowledge transfer, SOPs, and global training materials for end-users.
- Monitor Oracle quarterly updates and assess their impact on the global design.
- Recommend process and system improvements to optimize ERP operations post-implementation.
- Contribute to the knowledge base and transformation documentation for ongoing operations.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Strong track record in ERP process design, fit-gap analysis, and configuration.
- Prior experience in transformation or ERP implementation programs.
- Deep functional knowledge in at least two ERP modules (Finance, Procurement, SCM, EPM).
- Independently able to document workflows via tools such as visio and other configuration related functions
- Ability to work independently in a transformation program setting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent documentation discipline.
- Oracle ERP Cloud certification(s) preferred.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams across all stakeholders
- Familiarity with financial controls, audit requirements, and reporting automation.
- Expertise in project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project), and financial reporting software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
