Corp-to-Corp (C2C) | Hybrid | Atlanta, Georgia
SRX is seeking a seasoned Oracle Cloud Financials Track Lead for a contract engagement supporting a financial services client based in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The client is undertaking a strategic migration from PeopleSoft Financials to Oracle Cloud and requires an experienced lead to drive delivery across all Finance workstreams. This is a C2C-only opportunity — no third-party vendors, staffing agencies, or subcontracting arrangements will be considered. Candidates must engage directly under their own registered U.S. corporation or LLC.
Role Overview
This engagement sits at the intersection of finance transformation and technology delivery. The client — an established financial services organisation — has made the strategic decision to retire PeopleSoft and move its entire finance function onto Oracle Cloud. They need someone who has been here before; who understands the nuances of migrating a heavily customised PeopleSoft environment, re-engineering processes that have existed for years, and bringing a finance team on that journey without disrupting day-to-day operations.
This is not a configuration role. The expectation is that the Track Lead will shape how the solution is built, challenge where appropriate, and own outcomes end to end.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Migration & Transformation
- Assess the client's existing PeopleSoft Financials landscape and develop a structured migration approach that accounts for customisations, legacy data, and embedded business processes
- Lead the redesign of the Chart of Accounts, translating PeopleSoft ChartField structures into Oracle Cloud segments while future-proofing for reporting and consolidation requirements
- Define the data conversion strategy for open balances, historical transactions, supplier and customer master data, and fixed asset registers — and own quality through to reconciliation sign-off
Solution Design & Configuration
- Set the functional direction across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expenses — making deliberate design decisions rather than defaulting to out-of-the-box configurations where the client's needs demand more
- Design Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules that reflect the complexity of a regulated financial services environment, including intercompany flows, multi-currency positions, and period-end accounting requirements
- Establish the financial close framework within Oracle Cloud, working with the client's finance leadership to reduce close cycle times versus the current PeopleSoft process
Integrations
- Take functional ownership of the integration design between Oracle Cloud Financials and the client's core banking and payment processing infrastructure — defining data flows, reconciliation points, and exception handling requirements
- Work alongside the data and analytics team to ensure the Oracle Cloud financial data model supports downstream reporting needs, including feeds into the client's enterprise data warehouse and any regulatory reporting obligations
- Review and challenge integration designs produced by the technical team to ensure functional accuracy and auditability
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the single point of accountability for finance workstream delivery, providing clear and honest progress reporting to program leadership
- Manage relationships with senior finance stakeholders — Controllers, CFO office, and internal audit — navigating competing priorities with professionalism and pragmatism
- Support the client's change management effort by ensuring finance end users understand what is changing, why, and what it means for their day-to-day roles
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Oracle Financials implementation experience, with a minimum of 3 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations
- At least one end-to-end PeopleSoft-to-Oracle Cloud migration in a lead capacity — this is a firm requirement
- Deep functional expertise across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management
- Proven experience owning integration design between Oracle Cloud Financials and core banking or payment platforms
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse integration and supporting the migration of financial reporting from legacy environments
- Strong knowledge of SLA configuration, intercompany accounting, and multi-org/multi-currency setups
- Solid grasp of U.S. GAAP, financial controls, and period-close best practices
- Comfortable presenting to and managing senior finance stakeholders
- Must be operating under a valid U.S.-registered corporation or LLC
