Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist for an on-site, full-time position at our San Diego, CA location. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage eye conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and collaborate with other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on eye health, developing treatment plans, and staying up-to-date with advancements in optometric care to ensure the highest level of service. This position requires a commitment to delivering quality care and a focus on enhancing the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program and valid California state license
• Proficiency in performing comprehensive eye examinations and detecting various ocular conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and cross-functional teams
• Ability to develop treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses tailored to patients' individual needs
• Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in optometry practices and technologies
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
• Dedication to providing culturally competent and patient-centered care
