Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing work in our plant, moving metal parts through various processes to prepare them for delivery to the end customer. This multi-faceted role will involve loading and setting up machines using process manuals, unloading machines, checking quality, cleaning work areas, and moving material around the facility. You may also be required to unload trucks and operate a forklift occasionally. There will be daily interaction with the lead, discussing and understanding the day's orders and tasks. You will also be responsible for visually and physically inspecting parts to ensure top quality before packing them for customer delivery. Overall, this is a wrench turner job, running some machines, doing basic assembly and inspection, etc. Growth into a higher-level machine operator is possible, but that's a little down the road.

Work Environment
The work environment is a small manufacturing floor with a family feel, consisting of 6-8 employees. It is bright, organized, and clean, with high ceilings, though metal dust can accumulate on the ground from the machining process. Brooms are used to maintain cleanliness. The facility does not have air conditioning, but temperatures typically only rise to 80-85°F on a 100°F day. The first shift operates Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm, with the possibility of adding Fridays or adjusting to a Monday-Friday schedule depending on business needs. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection in some areas, and gloves. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
