As a Program owner within the Market Operations Platform Transformation team (MOPT), you will lead global transformation initiatives in a cross-functional setting. You will collaborate with Business, Product, Operations, and Technology teams worldwide to deliver outcomes aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives. You will manage complex, high-visibility programs end-to-end—developing integrated plans, managing dependencies, analyzing risks/benefits, and partnering with key stakeholders to deliver scalable, well-controlled solutions.
A top priority for this role is leading a high-performing, matrixed, multi-disciplinary team spanning Project/Program Management, Test Management, hands-on testers, and Business Analysts. You will set standards for delivery excellence, drive consistent test outcomes, and modernize testing practices—including expanded test automation and AI-enabled innovation—while maintaining strong engagement, transparency, and alignment with stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing matrixed team (PMs, Test Managers, testers, BAs); set cadence and delivery culture.
- Own senior stakeholder engagement across Business, Product, Operations, and Technology; align outcomes, scope, priorities, and timelines.
- Manage fast-paced, complex cross-functional programs with material business impact.
- Partner with Ops/Tech/Product SMEs to design scalable operating models and solutions for strategic/regulatory initiatives.
- Define requirements/user stories; create test plans/scripts; oversee execution through sign-off.
- Drive test automation adoption (coverage, integration, reporting, metrics).
- Scale AI-enabled testing and productivity solutions with appropriate risk and controls.
- Establish governance, roles/responsibilities, and resourcing to ensure lifecycle coverage.
- Develop integrated plans; manage dependencies, milestones, and cross-workstream sequencing.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions; resolve issues and escalate as needed.
- Ensure adherence to Risk/Control and firmwide guidelines; model high-quality standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 10+ years of related Program Management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams, including setting objectives, managing performance, and driving standardized ways of working.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive alignment across competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of testing lifecycle and delivery practices (planning, execution, defect management, reporting, governance).
- Experience driving test automation strategy and adoption, including defining automation goals, coverage approach, and measurable quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and define a path forward for large-scale initiatives.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and a track record of continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across Business, Operations, Product, and Technology.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and hands-on experience using JIRA and MS Office.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated experience across Corporate & Investment Bank functions (Global Markets, Middle Office, and/or Securities Services) operating models and processes.
- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale, global platform and operating model transformations with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to drive end-to-end test strategy across multiple workstreams, including environment planning, test data coordination, and release readiness.
- Track record of improving quality metrics (e.g., defect leakage, cycle time, automation coverage/adoption, release predictability).
- Experience with AI-enabled quality engineering solutions or automation accelerators in an enterprise environment.
