A well-established community bank in the Summerville area is seeking a detail-oriented Deposit Operations Specialist to join its growing team. This role is ideal for banking professionals who enjoy behind-the-scenes operations, problem-solving, and supporting both customers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Review mobile deposits, remote deposits, and check transactions to ensure accuracy and help prevent fraud.
- Process and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
- Support debit card servicing, maintenance, fraud review, and dispute resolution.
- Assist customers and branch teams with online banking inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Monitor daily operational reports and identify discrepancies, documentation issues, or suspicious activity.
- Research and resolve customer and internal inquiries through phone and email communication.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth banking operations and exceptional service.
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of banking deposit operations experience.
- Experience with Fiserv Premier is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Critical thinker with sound judgment and the ability to identify and prevent potential fraud.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
