OPERATIONS PRODUCTION MANAGER for Metal finishing & coatings

Due to rapid growth this privately owned & very stable company with a solid backlog of business in metal plating & coatings is seeking an OPERATIONS - PRODUCTION MANAGER / DIRECTOR!

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you’ll play a significant role in the continued growth! We’re looking for a “HANDS-ON” leader to manage day-to-day production / operations needs.

• In addition, you will drive Continuous Improvements & LEAN events, ensure safety & AS9100 / ISO9001 compliances, ensure product quality, root cause analysis, corrective actions and risk mitigation
• Lead, train & mentor 20+ direct reports.
• Manage workflow, scheduling, update processes, procedures & policies to meet production goals.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience running OPERATIONS / PRODUCTION manufacturing

(PREFER plating – coating – anodizing – etching – dipping etc.)

OTHER INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE considered: CNC MACHINING / PLASTICS & INJECTION MOLDING / PAINTS & CHEMICALS / AUTOMOTIVE AND ELECTRONICS

• In-depth understanding of production schedules, resource allocation, process improvements, workflow scheduling and capacity planning
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence change & collaborate with team members.
• LEAN & Continuous Improvement principles
