JOB DESCRIPTIONS - 5 days a week onsite - 6-9 month contract to hire


Insight Global is looking for an Operations Officer (Administrative) to join one of our largest defense clients onsite out of Warren, MI. This person will be responsible for providing officer services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects. This position will serve as the principal advisor and consultant to the organizational unit manager and other key managers on administrative and management directives. The contractor shall communicate with all levels of staff, operating officials, and support organizations; and shall provide document preparation, review, staffing, and archival services. Other responsbilites include:

  • Analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control, office layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements; recommend systems and procedures; and implement approved changes
  • Identify functional and cross-functional requirements to maintain continuity of work operations, documenting and communicating recommended actions to management
  • Research, coordinate, and provide guidance on regulations, policies, directives, and procedures
  • Develop, execute, and track documents and intergovernmental agreements such as Memorandums of Understanding, Memorandums of Agreement, and Memorandums for Record
  • Coordinate, schedule, and adjust meetings, events, and travel for organization leaders, and synchronize organization events and operations as required with key stakeholders


Insight Global is looking for an Operations Officer (Product Team) to sit onsite at one of our largest defense clients in Warren, MI. This person will be the main point of contact for product managers/directors around daily operations. They will be responsible for conducting detailed planning and coordination of product team operations. They will manage projects to assure priority actions are coordinated, staffed, and are properly executed to meet deadlines. Other responsiblites include:

  • Daily Battle Rhythm, meetings, and task management
  • Coordinate and facilitate recurring staff meetings
  • Prepare and transmit agendas, briefs, tasks, calendars, and action items
  • Prepare required presentation materials for onsite and offsite events
  • Work cross functionally with product teams and high level stakeholders


Insight Global is looking for a DoD Project Manager to sit onsite at one of our largest defense clients in Warren, MI. This person will be responsbile for supporting the creation and management of various complex management projects, issues, and initiatives. They will manage projects to assure priority actions are coordinated, staffed, and executed throughout the organization. Other responsiblites include:

  • Use knowledge of vehicle acquisition program(s) to provide services including administration support, project management, and technical development support.
  • Provide recommendations and technical advice in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, to include the DoD 5000 series and Federal Acquisition Regulations and its supplements. The applicant shall adhere to quality standards and reviews for project deliverables.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and shall provide a single point of contact for those projects. The applicant shall take projects from original concept through final implementation. The applicant shall interface with the organization and its customers in all areas affected by the project.
  • Define the project scope and objectives based on organizational requirements; and develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. The applicant shall conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. The applicant shall manage taskers to assure priority actions are coordinated, staffed, and properly executed throughout the organization to guarantee timely, cohesive, and accurate execution of work.
  • Analyze information and data, and assess progress of programs, projects, and processes. The applicant shall provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team and recommend solutions to organizational leadership. The applicant shall organize, manage, and present information, to include oral recommendations.



Compensation:

$35/hr to $55/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
