Operations Manager

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building operations from the ground up. The Operations Manager will play a key role in launching and managing operations out of our new warehouse, overseeing daily moving operations, and helping scale the business as we add trucks, people, and customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for residential and commercial moving services
  • Lead and support field crews and drivers; assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling as headcount grows
  • Manage the transition into and ongoing operations of the new 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse
  • Develop and implement operational processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate truck scheduling, route planning, equipment usage, and job execution
  • Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across all moves
  • Monitor job performance, labor efficiency, and operational costs
  • Partner with ownership to support growth initiatives, process improvements, and scalability
  • Handle issue resolution in real time and serve as the main operational point of contact


Looking For:

  • Experience in operations management, logistics, moving services, transportation, or a related field
  • Proven ability to lead small teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working on-site and in the field as needed
  • Experience setting up or improving operational processes is a strong plus
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
