This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building operations from the ground up. The Operations Manager will play a key role in launching and managing operations out of our new warehouse, overseeing daily moving operations, and helping scale the business as we add trucks, people, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations for residential and commercial moving services
- Lead and support field crews and drivers; assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling as headcount grows
- Manage the transition into and ongoing operations of the new 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse
- Develop and implement operational processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate truck scheduling, route planning, equipment usage, and job execution
- Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across all moves
- Monitor job performance, labor efficiency, and operational costs
- Partner with ownership to support growth initiatives, process improvements, and scalability
- Handle issue resolution in real time and serve as the main operational point of contact
Looking For:
- Experience in operations management, logistics, moving services, transportation, or a related field
- Proven ability to lead small teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Comfortable working on-site and in the field as needed
- Experience setting up or improving operational processes is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
