Our client is seeking a sophisticated, hands-on Luxury Retail Operations Manager to lead the operational build-out and launch of their second U.S. flagship boutique in the Miami Design District, while helping establish the operational infrastructure for future domestic expansion. This is a rare opportunity to help build the operational blueprint of an emerging global luxury Jewelry Maison in the U.S.

Core Responsibilities:

Store Development & Flagship Opening Execution

Lead all operational aspects required to successfully open the Miami flagship, including:

  • Construction coordination with general contractors, architects, and vendors
  • Permit tracking and municipal approvals
  • Certificate of Occupancy readiness
  • Fire alarm approvals and inspections
  • Elevator certification and inspections
  • HVAC commissioning
  • Electrical activation and meter setup
  • ADA compliance verification
  • Security system installation, CCTV, and vault readiness
  • POS, telecom, Wi-Fi, and back-office infrastructure setup
  • Insurance compliance and COI management
  • Vendor scheduling and site access coordination
  • Final punch-list oversight
  • Opening readiness audits and operational launch execution


Luxury Boutique Operations

Establish and maintain operational excellence across all boutique functions, including:

  • SOP development and implementation
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Client hospitality standards
  • Packaging standards and inventory management
  • Inventory controls, cycle counts, and shrink prevention
  • Jewelry handling protocols
  • Repair and aftercare operations
  • Vendor procurement and facilities management
  • Payroll and scheduling systems
  • KPI reporting and operational dashboards


Merchandising & Client Experience Support

Partner closely with retail leadership to ensure operational execution supports an exceptional client experience:

  • Fixture procurement and installation
  • Showcases, vitrines, safes, and millwork coordination
  • Lighting calibration and maintenance
  • Visual merchandising operational setup
  • Branded packaging replenishment and inventory management
  • Catering and hospitality coordination
  • VIP salon operational standards
  • Launch events and in-store experience execution


Security & Compliance

Oversee all security and compliance protocols, including:

  • Vault security procedures
  • Armored transport coordination
  • Alarm monitoring systems
  • Inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Emergency procedures and safety readiness
  • Operational compliance audits
