Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Operational Director for our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
The Operational Director has overall responsibility for planning, organizing and directing the clinical and operational aspects of the center. Reporting to the Vice President, Surgical Services, the Operational Director is expected to work in close collaboration with hospital leadership, strategy, patient experience, operational and financial leadership to achieve the patient experience, financial and operational goals. This position will also be overseeing the ambulatory management team..

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years experience in hospital management and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in an academic medical center. Successful track record in leadership and staff management. Demonstrated success in working with physicians. Experience with IT systems used in medical management. Good written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current registered professional nurse licensure in New York State preferred. Masters degree preferred. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association

The salary range for the role is $128,979.98 - $217,136.52 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
