Job Title: Operations Coordinator (Utilities Support - MPU)

Location: Tulare, CA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $25/hr – $32/hr on W2

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: 04/15/2026 to 10/11/2027


Travel: Occasional travel to service centers (Antelope Valley, Ridgecrest, Shaver Lake, Bishop, Mammoth, Tehachapi, Kernville)


Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator / Scheduling Analyst to support scheduling and coordination activities for Main Panel Upgrade (MPU) projects. This role involves managing scheduling systems, ensuring compliance with timelines, and coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, administrative coordination experience, and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate Main Panel Upgrade (MPU) disconnect/reconnect activities
  • Manage scheduling systems, documentation, and workflow tracking
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor CPUC timelines to ensure compliance
  • Prioritize and manage backlog effectively
  • Ensure adherence to MPU processes and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Support administrative, operational, and coordination functions


Required Qualifications

  • 0–3 years of experience in:
  • Scheduling, coordination, operations, or administrative support
  • Data analysis using spreadsheets and database tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Database structures
  • Reporting tools
  • At least one programming language
  • Experience with project coordination or utilities industry (nice to have)
