Operations Coordinator

Razny Jewelers, a high-end jewelry and fine timepiece retailer with four stores in the Chicagoland area, is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team as a full-time employee working out of our Chicago, IL location.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable contributing to and working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and liaison between sales associates, watchmakers and clients in order to deliver the Razny experience, the best client experience.

Responsibilities:

Accept watches and jewelry for repair from clients on a day-to-day basis
Evaluate item conditions and clearly identify necessary repairs by working closely with both sales associates and our in-house watchmakers
Communicate instructions for proper servicing and enter information clearly into the POS system
Responsible for merchandise transfers three or more times per week
Assist sales team with customer orders
Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may bring to the client service department
Facilitate delivery of merchandise to customers

Requirements:

Previous customer service experience is a plus
Experience in a retail environment strongly preferred
Ability to maintain composure in high pressure, fast-paced environment
Great listener and communicator
Organized and good at multi-tasking
Comfortable at handling phone calls and in person correspondence
Professional and welcoming presentation
Demonstrates attention to detail and has a sense of urgency
A passion for the jewelry industry
