Overview
Provides oversight and leadership of operational and technology aspects of the transaction processes and systems within Fort Washington Investment Advisors (FWIA), including the trading system, and settlement and cash desk functions. Implements infrastructure to support the growth projections and enhanced complexity of new product offerings and asset class investments made by FWIA, including derivatives, international securities and bank loans. This includes recommending appropriate accounting and ensuring compliance with Dodd-Frank and other regulatory requirements. Independently leads process redesign and enhancements, including trade flow modernization, optimization of processes, and software selection and upgrades. Effectively trains new associates within assigned functions to ensure seamless onboarding. Leads firmwide initiatives such as SSAE-16 certification, proxy voting, billing, AUM reporting and internal audit support.
Responsibilities
What you will do:
- Executes daily oversight and leadership of the following operational processes, transaction settlement, derivative processing and the cash desk.
- Develops, directs and maintains procedures for processing complex products and securities such as derivatives, international securities, global hedge funds and bank loans. This includes evaluating risks and impact on the business from an operational standpoint.
- Leads process redesign and enhancements of transaction functions, including increases efficiency in daily functions, improved utilization of software to maximize effectiveness, and upgrades to existing technology to modernize processes.
- Leads firm-wide initiatives, including Annual SSAE-16 coordination and implementation, proxy voting process and committee meetings, billing and AUM for Institutional and Private Client Group business partners, including automating the processes, and quarterly operations audits.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Dodd-Frank, MAR and internal audit testing.
- Is primary point of contact for management within other departments, including Treasury and Western & Southern Investment Accounting.
- Oversees daily and monthly pricing (approximately 6,000 securities) process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or commensurate work experience - Required
- Proven understanding and experience of the financial services industry. - Required
- Demonstrated experience completing assigned tasks independently, accurately and on a timely basis. - Required
- Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and timely. - Required
- Proven experience working with complex programs that require identifying complex data and analyzing the quality of the output provided. - Required
- Proven experience with Investment Management software. - Preferred
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills and process orientation. - Required
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work across organizational boundaries and effectively build relationships inside and outside of the organization (e.g., Clients, CIO, CEO, and Portfolio Managers). - Required

Work Setting/Position Demands:
- Works in an office setting and remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings.
- Requires the ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information to customers and associates on a regular basis.
- Requires visual acuity to read and interpret a variety of correspondence, procedures, reports and forms via paper and electronic documents, visual inspection involving small defects; small parts, and/or operation of machinery (including inspection); using measurement devices continuously. Visual acuity is required to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
- Requires the ability to prepare written correspondence, reports and forms using prescribed formats and conforming to rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style on a regular basis.
- Requires the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Performs substantial movement of wrists, hands, and fingers for continuous computer work.
- Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects/events.
