Operating Room Nurse

Company Information

Continuum Surgery Center of Naples is a newly accredited, multi‑specialty ambulatory surgery center seeking an experienced Circulating OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinical team.

As we continue ramping surgical operations across four operating suites, we are looking for a nurse who can step into a fast‑paced ASC environment and contribute as an independent circulating RN within the first 60 days.

This is a full-time, onsite role supporting surgical procedures Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or on‑call requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures across a multi‑specialty case mix
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and PACU staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Maintain sterile field protocols and support intraoperative workflow
• Assist with post‑operative patient care as needed in a collaborative team environment
• Contribute to a startup ASC culture where team members support the patient journey from intake through discharge

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications
• 2–4 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
• Proficient in aseptic technique, medication administration and patient assessment
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation practices
• Familiarity with various EMR systems (Epic/Cerner)
• Ability to work full-time in an onsite ASC environment

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting surgical cases in:

• Plastic surgery
• Oncology or breast reconstruction
• ENT
• Orthopedics
• Pain management procedures

Schedule

• Surgeries conducted Monday through Thursday
• Typical team arrival around 6:30 AM
• Outpatient discharge generally by 3:00–3:30 PM
• Fridays off or reserved for light administrative prep
• No nights, weekends, or on‑call requirements
