Position Overview

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Continuous Improvement) for a Client to lead release management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives within a large-scale technology program environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong senior-level project and program management experience, a deep understanding of the software development life cycle, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, improve delivery processes, and drive measurable business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage release management and continuous improvement activities from a senior leadership perspective.
  • Oversee key aspects of the software development life cycle within a Project Management Office environment.
  • Facilitate and manage the planning, execution, and follow-up of quality improvement and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are aligned with organizational goals, strategic priorities, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support goal alignment, operational efficiency, and process standardization.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects focused on reducing waste, improving quality, increasing efficiency, and delivering greater business value.
  • Work with department leaders, vendors, and stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks, redundancies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct regular release meetings across multiple functional areas to support timely product delivery.
  • Ensure improvement events are followed through to completion, including scheduling, facilitation, and recurring status reviews with all relevant parties.
  • Drive a sustainable culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability, and measurable performance.
  • Define, monitor, and report on quantifiable KPIs, including waste reduction, efficiency improvement, quality pass rate, and process control metrics.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, management, and reporting of large and complex initiatives.
  • Develop roadmaps, project plans, timelines, and delivery strategies in partnership with program leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support staffing and resource planning decisions based on current organizational capabilities and future program needs.
  • Collaborate with managers and directors to prioritize work, set deadlines, assign resources, and uphold standardized processes throughout the SDLC.
  • Maintain and improve project governance, including roles, responsibilities, milestones, outcomes, and reporting expectations.
  • Drive consistent communication, project tracking, stakeholder visibility, and internal awareness across a portfolio of work.
  • Work directly with vendors and stakeholders to reduce ambiguity, manage expectations, and support successful delivery.
  • Establish a consistent reporting and daily management cadence, including clear accountabilities, roles, and responsibilities for key stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, templates, and best practices.
  • Lead project management transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Serve as an escalation point for direct reports, senior management, directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Apply project management methodologies, best practices, and standards to ensure successful delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • 16+ years of experience using Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project and program management.
  • 15+ years of experience managing people, performance, process development, and change management practices for medium to large teams.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering high-value, client-facing software projects across multiple teams and customers.
  • 10+ years of experience developing and improving consistent, repeatable outcomes within a Project Management Office.
  • 10+ years of experience devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems while considering system capacity, operational constraints, timelines, and desired outcomes.
  • 7+ years of progressive operational leadership or consultative experience in a hospital or health system setting.
  • 10+ years of experience with program development involving clinical evidence, outcomes analysis, process flow analysis, and end-user relationship management.
  • 15+ years of strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving experience.
  • 7+ years of experience and thorough understanding of core business processes within healthcare organizations.
  • 15+ years of management experience with individual contributors and/or supervisors.

 

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and project delivery frameworks.
  • Proven experience implementing project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong vendor management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives in highly structured environments.
  • Strong change management, governance, and operational improvement background.
  • Ability to create clarity, drive accountability, and maintain executive-level visibility across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience supporting healthcare technology, enterprise systems, or large-scale public sector programs is highly desirable.
