About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineering & AI Intern to join our team onsite and support the development of a Snowflake-based Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE).

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience working on real-world data engineering, data modeling, and AI-driven analytics use cases in the biopharma domain.

You will work closely with our Data Architects and Technical Leads to build scalable data pipelines, data models, and AI-driven solutions on Snowflake.


Key ResponsibilitiesData Engineering & Snowflake Development
  • Assist in building and optimizing data pipelines into Snowflake
  • Work on data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows
  • Support development using SQL and Snowflake features (Snowpark, tasks, streams)
Data Modeling & Analytics
  • Help design and implement scalable data models (staging, curated, and analytics layers)
  • Support data reconciliation and quality checks across systems
  • Work with teams to ensure consistency between:
  • Source systems (Salesforce, etc.)
  • Snowflake data warehouse
  • Reporting/BI tools
AI & Analytics Use Cases
  • Assist in building AI-driven monitoring and analytics use cases, such as:
  • Anomaly detection
  • Data reconciliation
  • Workflow monitoring
  • Support development using Python / Snowpark for AI workflows
Collaboration & Learning
  • Work closely with Data Architects and senior engineers
  • Participate in design discussions and implementation reviews
  • Document learnings, processes, and technical components

Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
  • Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong fundamentals in:
  • SQL
  • Data structures and basic data modeling
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Python
  • Databases / data warehousing concepts
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
  • Exposure to Snowflake or any cloud data platform
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
  • Familiarity with:
  • APIs / data ingestion
  • basic machine learning concepts
  • Interest in AI, data engineering, and analytics
