About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineering & AI Intern to join our team onsite and support the development of a Snowflake-based Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE).
This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience working on real-world data engineering, data modeling, and AI-driven analytics use cases in the biopharma domain.
You will work closely with our Data Architects and Technical Leads to build scalable data pipelines, data models, and AI-driven solutions on Snowflake.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Engineering & Snowflake Development
- Assist in building and optimizing data pipelines into Snowflake
- Work on data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows
- Support development using SQL and Snowflake features (Snowpark, tasks, streams)
Data Modeling & Analytics
- Help design and implement scalable data models (staging, curated, and analytics layers)
- Support data reconciliation and quality checks across systems
- Work with teams to ensure consistency between:
- Source systems (Salesforce, etc.)
- Snowflake data warehouse
- Reporting/BI tools
AI & Analytics Use Cases
- Assist in building AI-driven monitoring and analytics use cases, such as:
- Anomaly detection
- Data reconciliation
- Workflow monitoring
- Support development using Python / Snowpark for AI workflows
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with Data Architects and senior engineers
- Participate in design discussions and implementation reviews
- Document learnings, processes, and technical components

Required Qualifications- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
- Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong fundamentals in:
- SQL
- Data structures and basic data modeling
- Basic knowledge of:
- Python
- Databases / data warehousing concepts
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)- Exposure to Snowflake or any cloud data platform
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
- Familiarity with:
- APIs / data ingestion
- basic machine learning concepts
- Interest in AI, data engineering, and analytics
