Office Manager

Mardi Gras Productions is a long-established special event production company specializing in themed events, décor, lighting, special effects, scenic fabrication, floral, custom linens, signage, and event production services. With over 10,000 props and all operations located near the New Orleans Convention Center, we produce events from concept through execution.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated Office Manager to join our team full time. This is an on-site position, 40 hours per week, in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Set up customer contracts and invoicing
• Handle collections on past-due accounts
• Process payroll
• Make bank deposits and post deposits in QuickBooks Desktop
• Provide administrative support to CEO
• Answer phones and respond to emails
• Maintain filing systems and office organization
• Process incoming billing and invoicing mail
• Prepare documents and assist with daily office operations
• Maintain confidentiality regarding financial and personnel information
Qualifications:
• Bookkeeping experience required
• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Customer-service oriented
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with standard office software and equipment
