We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper for a construction company in Greenville, SC. This is a full time, permanent position that is focused on foundational bookkeeping and operational support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a highly detail-oriented, design-conscious environment and can bring structure, organization, and financial clarity to the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a polished, organized, and professional environment
  • Assist in coordinating internal processes in a design-focused, detail-driven construction environment
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Answer phones and serve as a welcoming first point of contact for clients and vendors
  • Manage office supplies, vendors, and facility coordination
  • Maintain organization of documents, job files, and internal systems
  • Provide administrative support to ownership and the operations manager
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reconciliations
  • Partner with external CPA to ensure financials are accurate and up to date

Qualifications:

  • 4-10 years of experience in office management, bookkeeping, or a similar hybrid role
  • Experience in construction industry a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to self-manage and remain very organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (standard business hours)
  • Onsite
  • Permanent/Direct Hire
