The Office & Finance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of a non-profit organization that supports Volusia-Flagler Counties. This position provides administrative and clerical support to staff and leadership while helping ensure efficient office operations in support of the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about contributing to a mission-driven environment.


**This position requires successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screenings**


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors, clients, volunteers, and partners
  • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and general inquiries in a professional manner
  • Provide administrative support to staff and leadership as needed
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating logistics
  • Support basic data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting related to operations
  • Review and validation of gifts, grants, and vendor payments
  • Assist with bank and account reconciliations
  • Order and track office supplies and assist with general office maintenance
  • Assist with volunteer coordination tasks such as sign-ins, communications, or documentation
  • Help prepare materials for events, outreach activities, or fundraising efforts
  • Uphold organizational values and contribute to a collaborative, respectful workplace


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission and values of a nonprofit organization

Work Environment
