About the role

• Coordinate and execute export shipments across ocean, air, and multimodal transport
• Plan optimal shipping routes based on cost, transit time, and cargo requirements
• Prepare and manage all export documentation in compliance with customs, insurance, and international regulations
• Liaise with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth end-to-end shipment execution
• Arrange urgent and high-value freight movements, including courier and hand-carry services
• Monitor shipments throughout transit and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
• Support labeling, packing, and repacking of shipments when required
• Contribute to reporting, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay up to date with global trade regulations and compliance requirements

What we need from you

• Prior experience in international ocean export operations
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Understanding of compliance programs and safety regulations (OSHA, EMCP)
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and schedules
