Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional mobility, independence, and quality of life
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions designed to relieve pain and improve or restore function following illness, injury, or disabling conditions
  • Help patients build or regain daily living, self-care, and vocational skills to support greater independence
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, recovery goals, adaptive techniques, and ongoing care strategies
  • Collaborate with and supervise designated care team members to support safe, high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Occupational Therapy state license
  • BLS Certification
  • NBCOT Certification (within 6 months of eligibility)
