Obstetrics (OB) - Health Care Tech (HCT)

Department: Nursing - Obstetrics

Status Hours: Part-time, 48 hours bi-weekly

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Join the dedicated Obstetrics team at Fulton County Health Center as a Health Care Tech and make a difference every day. This dual-role position combines clerical responsibilities with hands-on patient care. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you’ll assist with patient care for individuals of all ages while also managing essential clerical duties on the nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Observe patients and report relevant data to the RN
• Support clinical staff with procedures as appropriate
• Perform clerical functions to ensure smooth unit operations

Requirements

Qualifications (must meet at least one of the following):

• CNA or STNA certification
• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with at least one completed clinical rotation
• Certified Medical Assistant
• EMT licensure
• OR relevant previous work experience demonstrating the ability to perform job functions

Additional Requirements:

• CPR Certification – BLS for Healthcare Providers required
