  • Jointhe team of1 FT/1 PT/3 PRN OB Hospitalists, 1OBGYN,and4 APPs

  • 500-600 births/year

  • Very flexible scheduling- 7 24-hour shifts/month

  • Level II NICU staffed24 hoursby Pediatric Hospitalists&NICU Nurses with access to an on-site blood bank.

  • Teaching opportunity- FM Residents(in L&D 24/7)& Medical Students

  • In-house specialists available for consultation/collaboration in patient care, i.e., Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school isrequired. Demonstrated competency as a physician bycompletion ofan appropriate residencyprogram;board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
