Nursing Manager

Responsibilities

The Nursing Supervisor will ensure nursing services at the Westborough Campus are delivered in accordance with Spectrum’s policies and procedures as well as in compliance with all licensing, accreditation, ad regulatory bodies. This position will also gather clinical information as requested by insurance companies for the purpose of obtaining authorizations for inpatient level of care. The nurse will provide information as requested by insurance companies relative to discharge as requested by each insurer. This position will handle all appeals as required in the event an insurer refuses to authorize service delivery, and they will provide support to the nursing and management staff as needed. The Nursing Supervisor will provide direct supervision to both licensed and unlicensed personnel at the campus and will collaborate with the management team to ensure high quality services in all programs. This position performs job activities adhering to medical standards in a compassionate, professional manner and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

Required Skills

• Active LPN or RN License
• 2 years of Substance Abuse Disorder or related field
• Must obtain CPR cert within 90 days

• Clinical Leadership – Supervising nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care in compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Insurance & Authorization Expertise – Gathering clinical information, managing authorizations, and handling appeals with insurers.
• Strong Communication – Effectively interacting with patients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies in both written and verbal formats.
• Problem-Solving & Independent Judgment – Making timely, informed decisions in clinical and administrative situations.
• Technical & Administrative Proficiency – Skilled in documentation, reporting, and using Microsoft Office and other relevant healthcare software.

Schedule/Shift

• Flex Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift are open. Throughout the week.
• Being able to work rotating weekends is a must
