We’re looking for a Nursing AssistantSupervisor to help manage our Nursing Assistant team—a proactive, hard-working team, working to ensure that our Veterans' daily patient care needs are met.

Job Duties:
*Supervises and manages subordinate Nursing Assistants in providing care for residents.
*Prepares assignment sheets, making adjustments when necessary.
*Prepares performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
*Makes rounds of inspection, reviews records and monitors the environment on the assigned unit to ensure resident safety and that patients are receiving adequate nursing care in sanitary conditions.
*Directs and assists in providing care to patients such as feeding, ambulating, bathing, positioning, lifting and dressing. Instructs and trains subordinates in patient care techniques, serves as a lead worker over Nursing Assistants 1 & 2 and Nursing Unit Aides.
*Measures temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, intake, and output and records in the patient's medical record. Observes patient's condition and reports any changes to unit nurse.
*Implements and follows through with special goals and projects to improve the quality of patient care. Works directly with professional personnel in developing programs on therapeutic techniques with patients, such as reactivation and rehabilitation.
