The Minnesota Mayo Clinic Health System Division of Psychiatry and Psychology is seeking supplemental NPs or PAs to help cover vacations, CME, and leave of absences for our inpatient NP/PA psychiatry team. The team consists of inpatient psychiatrists and NP/PAs who work a 7 on/ 7 off schedule. A physician and a NPPA are always on-call to cover inpatient needs and emergency room consults. This NP/PA would assist with covering inpatient units in Albert Lea, MN and Mankato, MN. Mostly in-person with occasional virtual coverage.
This candidate should have strengths in pharmacological and nonpharmacological management of psychiatric conditions. Should also have strengths in patient interviewing/history taking along with strong communication skills for care coordination.
