A healthcare network in Indiana is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Occupational Medicine team in Indianapolis.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (Per Diem, maternity and/or vacation coverage)
- Hours: 9am to 6pm
- Setting: Occupational Medicine
Responsibilities:
The Occupational Medicine Physician will:
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with medical model and standard of care
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting boards
- Perform physical, mental status and medical history examinations; record findings subsequently reviewed and countersigned by Supervising Physician
- Follow patient progress and make changes in treatment as necessary
- Participate in business development, when requested, to discuss health and safety needs and conduct workplace walk-through and other on-site assessments
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
- IN Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Registration with National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners
- Current DEA licensure
- Current CPR Registration
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Experience in an Emergency Room, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ortho, and/or Urgent Care setting
