Join our next paid Nurse Aide Training class offered at Passavant Community in Zelienople, PA.
You will begin your employment as a Caregiver for a period of 4–6 months. Following this initial phase, you will become eligible to participate in a comprehensive training program designed to prepare you for the state certification exam. The program includes five weeks of paid clinical and classroom instruction conducted during the daylight shift (6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.), Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, trainees will report to their assigned home site, with hours varying as needed. Upon successful completion of the program, you will transition into either a full-time or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) position. Please note that attendance throughout the training program is mandatory.

Participate in a Nurse Aide Trainee (NAT) education program. Once the classroom training is completed, the NA Trainee provides assistance to professional nursing staff in the care of residents/patients by performing routine direct and indirect resident/patient care activities, according to established policies and procedures. Maintains resident/patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Promotes resident/patient acceptance of treatment goals and responds promptly to overall resident/patient needs. The NA Trainee will be permitted to work in this capacity until passing the state competency examination.
