NUFDI Summer Interns will be invited to join the organization for the summer at a pivotal moment, as Iranians across the country continue to risk their lives in a nationwide struggle for freedom and democracy. Interns will gain an insightful introduction to advocacy and policy work in Washington, D.C., while contributing directly to NUFDI’s efforts to support human rights and amplify the voices of the Iranian people.
They will work closely with NUFDI staff on policy, advocacy, media, and human rights campaigns aimed at responding to the rapidly evolving situation in Iran and advancing accountability for the regime’s repression.
Joining NUFDI as a Summer Intern will be a unique opportunity to join a tight-knit, growing organization and take on responsibilities and challenges far beyond a standard summer internship. Interns will engage directly with issues related to Iran, human rights, and democracy while contributing to NUFDI’s research, communications, and advocacy efforts.
