Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory standards.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification throughout all procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
- Current ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification.
- Active or eligible state licensure, as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
