BJC HealthCare System is seeking a PRN Nuclear Med Technologist for Christian Hospital (11133 Dunn Rd., St. Louis, MO)

 

  Position Details:

• PRN Schedule – work as needed
• Location is near: Alton, IL / Godfrey, IL/ Edwardsville, IL / Collinsville, IL / Granite City, IL/ Bridgeton, MO / Saint Ann, MO / Roxana, IL / Wood River, IL / Spanish Lake, MO / Bethalto, IL / Florissant, MO / Black Jack 

 Requirements:

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification through NMTCB or ARRT required ARRT (accrediting body) which is ARRT(N) or NMTCB (accrediting body) which is CNMT.

Experience:

• If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), Nuclear Tech, Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), Tomography, Radiation Safety Officer , Radiologic Technologist – Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technologist, Radiotracer Technologist, PET Technologist

Overview

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

 

Nuclear Medicine offers Bone Density studies only. Nuclear Medicine is equipped with Hologic Bone Densitometer. Nuclear Medicine offers same day service. Mammography and Bone Density can be scheduled on the same day with no wait time between procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control.

 

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
