Nocturnist Physician for a Medical Center in Shiprock, NM

OverviewWe are seeking a Nocturnist Physician to provide overnight inpatient coverage in a structured clinical environment in Shiprock, NM. This role is ideal for providers who enjoy independent decision-making, a focused overnight workflow, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community.
What You’ll Do- Provide overnight hospital coverage (typically 7 PM – 7 AM)
- Admit and manage inpatient cases from the Emergency Department
- Respond to urgent and emergent patient care needs
- Stabilize patients and coordinate care with nursing and ED teams
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical standards
What We’re Looking For- MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Experience in hospitalist or inpatient settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and make critical clinical decisions overnight
- Comfortable working in a rural or community-focused setting
